other instruments 

hi folks ,

i have been taking time out from guitar , and purchased a cheap flute, and oud, and keyboard, does any one else play the oud ? im also interested in just getting basics going for piano and flute .

anyone know of any good methods of free net services, the oud is wild !! what a sound (i need get a book on that one , its great though.

Here's my free advise amigo:
you've got piano, a string instrument, a wind instrument, what is missing is some percussion.

No seriously, Úd is very very difficult, at least if you wanna play proper maqam.
Flute is also damn hard to play, it takes time to get a nice embouchure.

My advice would be.. Better one intrsument really good than various instruments solala...

But ok personal decision... Beside of that I saw some books for flamenco piano. That could be interesting. Chack flamenco-world.com

cheers kozza , its just a regular flute in C, the OUD is real cheap so i thought id have some fun, i love the sound .

im just messin about with em' so nothing serious Doit, i love the sound of the scales and even trying to sing them is great.

piano i bouoght a basic book and cds to day for rock piano so look out !

imslp.org has a library of public domain scores. you can search for flute
