Hey excellent, thanks!

Capullo is an amazing cantaor, and Diego Amaya has a very cool style of accompanying.

It's playing a song off the album 'live in Granada' right now (I think). It's this buleria, but played very slowly, and I'm 95% certain that it was digitally slowed down. It has a really strange effect on the sound, and definitely worth a listen. I think I'll explore this style of accompanying a bit in real time, with a lot of attention to silences.

Thanks for the station

I totally agree, and I intend to copy his style with abandon - lots of great gaps... a laid back rock approach with appropriate crescendos, don't you think?

This CD is of fiestas in Barcelona and Madrid also featuring Niño Jero on guitar.

If you mean this CD is digitally slowed down, I would doubt it personally (what would be the point?) but I know what you mean.

Yeah, that's exactly it, the gaps. Very subtle.

I'm not saying the CD is entirely slowed down, just this one buleria. Check it out: it starts with abuelo..... I'm pretty positive it's slowed down a lot, resulting in a drop of pitch as well. I think it's the last track on the cd (number 10)
