Side projects

Here's a few rough mixes I'm working on. mostly metal and rock stuff.

This one is by a friend of mine who originally used totally fake sounding midi drums and terribly sterile guitars. I used drum replacements, reamped the bass, and reworked everything completely!
Waves of Amphitrite

This one is by another friend of mine who's a indie rocker. Good tunes. He's into nintendo synth stuff which he uses a bit of here. I mixed this roughly and added some boom boom dance flair. Notice the pump and breathe dance style kick drum with a touch of garage to it

That's because the drums are totally fake, the guitars were re-amped because the originals sounded like bees in a garbage can, and all the orchestra stuff is goofy midi stuff lol.

but, it was fun and challenging to mix.
