The video in short...
he makes more flamencos than classicals
rosewood is harder to work with
and theres more demand for flamencos than classicals in san francisco

My last interview with the legend was somewhat different: when I returned a guitar which I had commissioned from el hijo, for shoddy workmanship and inaccurate bridge replacement, el padre came out to defend his progeny, without any justification whatever. !Que poca verguenza!

Hola Nealf

That´s more or less what el padre said. However I am honest and do not have la cara dura. I am not capable of selling a bad guitar to anyone, even less at a high price.

By the way, did you go to Madrid? And visit José?

When you sell a guitar like that you have to make a point of trash-talking the guitar and the luthier.
Even take it over the top, "...absolutely the worst guitar I have ever played! I am sure that this luthier doesn't have a flamenco bone in his body, because this guitar certainly doesn't! I could buy a guitar 100 times better from a virtual unknown off the internet."

This way your conscience is appeased and you can take satisfaction that the fan-boy fool who paid that much deserved to pay that much for it.

Forget cara dura and go for descarado. LOL
