Fingerpiks for Flamenco technique

Hi@all,

in order to get away with the whole nail-problem

has anyone tried to play with fingerpiks like this alaska ones?? http://www.alaskapik.com/

they are the (only?) ones which get under the nail so (alzapua could be possible for the thumb)

..but anyway the thumb is not the problem my problem is I-and M-nails while hard picados gets likely broken...

so will they fly of my hand while a rasgeuado etc.?

..any reviews??

thank you

yikes! i don't think those would be suitable for flamenco. for fingerpickin' steelstringers, yes, but for flamenco, definitely no.

you wouldn't be able to do rasgueados or anything that requires the flat surface of the nail and that includes alzapua.

if your i and m fingernails are breaking constantly, it's important to look at 1. length 2. shape and 3. technique.

we all go through these nail problems. unfortunately, there's no quick, easy product that'll help us.

he was talking about the flat surface needed on the upper nail side, and thats true. My gut feeling, its not suited for flamenco. A practical approach would be just to buy it and try it for yourself as these thingies just cost 2$.

Golpes??? hello Maybe for if you broke a nail you can get away with for i or m. Maybe P, but they don't look so secure.
