I am sad to see that my old friend Simon is trying to put me out of business, advertising my competitors! Simon! After all we've been through, the FT debacle, the TK debacle, the Bulerias thread....and this...!

Seriously, it was a shock to see her website up there. She is an entertainment agent in Phoenix. I have called her a few times to try to get listed on her site, but she has never called me back. Some agents are like that...I guess they figure they have enough guitar players, so why be polite to the ones who are asking for work? Oh well, Miguel Rodriguez is listed in her site, and he says she doesn't get him much for work, so no loss!

FT doesn't seem the same to me. Maybe because most of the guys I like are over here? I guess there is more of a "hardcore" flamenco presence there, but also a lot of talk about strings and nails. Well, we have that too here, I guess! :)

Hi Miguel

You must mean the googe ads at the top of the page. I also have these on my website and you dont get to choose who advertises. So its not Simon's choosing what appears in these adverts though I think he could actually ban/block particular ads from appearing. I cant see why a booking agent from Phoenix would want to appear on our forum, but I guess they dont choose where their ads appear either. I regularly see a studio website advertising, ie our competition and keep meaning to have them barred but haven't got round to it.
