RE: Paco de Lucia Tour 2010 (in reply to Djreisat)
all the tickets were sold in two days for the budapest event...he performs in debrecen a day earlier, but i'm pretty sure those tickets are gone too...
Thank you for the link Peter. Tonight I will order tickets for Brussel.
Did he said that Luzia will be his last album? I don´t think so... just a typical phrase of record companies. Maybe Paco has a little bit split personality: On one side he is tired from playing on stages and doing records, getting more mellow every year-on the other side he has still the fire to form a new group and try something new. Still wan´t to do it better than the last time... I´m very curious how the next album will be.
But anyway, someday he will be retired. He is 62 now and makes long pauses between his albums and his tours. I don´t believe that he wan´t to be the Keith Richards of Flamenco.

Btw, something very interesting is actually going on in that clip IMO. First Seguiriyas Luzia, then at around 3.00 change to SolxBul (those falsetas, the beautiful refrain, i don't remember hearing before) and just when the vid stops, the Luzia letra sung por soleares. Too bad it's cut.
These observations are based only on trusting my ears though, so it'd be great if someone could confirm them.

Yeah, me too since I first saw them in Roquetas de Mar way back on 2005 during my first Andaluz summer. I think it was the first gig of that tour in Tomatito's home town, and he was sitting on the front row.
