Free Spruce--Sort of

Yesterday while watching the today show I believe it was Matt Lauer who mentioned the tree in Rockefeller Center was a 70 foot Norweign Spruce. Soon that tree will have to be scraped and I suspect there is probably some good wood there. Maybe a call to N.Y.C. streets and sanitation might yield some spruce....or maybe a secretive trip in the middle of the night might be the ticket.

Nah, the best trees grow in colder weather at high altitudes. Guitars made from a dedicated to a Rockefeller ? It would control your mind. The conspiracy theorists would never buy those guitars.

It's not big enough. To get guitar tops you need around 30 inches in diameter.
