White golpeadores
I am an old guy ok. An ex-pat from 1960s Moron de la Frontera. I am taking 2 of my new blancas to a finisher this week for f.p. I want to put white tap plates on them because I like the look but want to sell at least one of the instruments. I would appreciate your opinions on white versus clear. Maybe i am the only guy left who thinks the white ones are really cool?

I ain't too young myself, and I find white golpeadores sort of nostalgic but aesthetically unsatisfying ... Any opinions on wooden golpeadores (i.e. maple on pine see here)
I´m midage, and have no problems with white tapplates but I dont like wooden ones.
If you want to sell a guitar, put a clear plate on it. most dont like white tapplates and you cant see if the guitar has a crack or other reparation underneath.

Well,.. as I wrote in another thread.. I think everybody will respect personal taste, but I would not use a white golpeador if you are planning to sell a guitar. I would never even think about buying a guitar with white golpeadore because under that all kinds of damage can be hidden. So.. in this case not a good choose.
And I personally think withe golpeadores look too much like gipsy kings. And it looks somehow... not serious.. It goes in the "tourist flamenco corner IMO" I don´t like it.
But as I said.. personal taste differs very much and must be respected.
