Real Player

It seems to be necessary to have a credit card to download Real Player, anyone know where one can get an old smaller version, and why is it flamenco clips are always in this format

Yes, I don't know why some people use this to encode audio, its always been an awful piece of software. Mp3 is far superior and less troublesome.
Trouble is Dave, you will probably find that even a slightly older version of Real Player will not play back real audio clips if they were encoded with a newer version of the software. Its a real pain in the ass.

I thought you could still download a free version, but maybe I'm wrong. It used to be a mega download though, not much fun if you are on a dial up.

If you REALly need it (sorry, couldn't resist that

) I suggest you go buy an Internet mag from Smiths that gives it away on the coverdisc.. You will probably get some other stuff that would be useful as well.
