Yeah -- that's an old falseta handed down from Ramon Montoya to my teacher (Carlos Ramos) then to me. I think Sabicas also may have used it, maybe with Mario Escudero in a duet (Sabicas was also a student of Montoya). And I've heard the Gastor nephews play it. Some of those old ones are gems. I really feel lucky to have been taught a headfull of those old ones.

Thanks for the feedback, you guys. I thought we might be too old-fashioned for you nuevo flamencos. . .
