Must-have recordings?

Can someone please post a list of must-have flamenco recordings & especially those that feature the guitar.
Thanks,
kev
OK, should have done a search first, sorry. Although, if anyone has a favorite that may not have been mentioned, please let me know.

surely some people don't agree, but some of the top-top guitar artists are Paco de Lucía, Gerardo Núnez, Tomatito, Vicente Amigo, they're the ones whose albums (any of them) you should get hold of...
of course there are many-many great players, the list is long and there's a lot to listen to...

Frankly, I prefer Corazon y bordon as a CD. Cepero also accompanied Rancapino a fair bit.

IMO, it's often better to find tracks/discs with your favourite guitarists accompanying singers as they play more traditionally.

Too much show-boating or experimentation on guitar CDs...

EL Niño Miguel- differente

The whole album is just great

In my opinion though, you have to learn to appreciate it all, not just the guitar but the cante as well. Camaron de la isla was great.

Jose menese, Diego clavel, Pericon de Cadiz, Fosforito, Chano Lobato... to name a few cantaores.

Melchor de marchena, Manolo Brenes, Diego del gastor, Felix de utrera, Enrique del Melchor...
these are all very good guitarist you dont always hear like the obvios choices Paco de Lucia, Tomatito and the like

Finding albums from them may be a bit difficult I know I have problems finding them maybe they have them in a specialty music store

agree with imiJ, I like Vicente's albums (especially Poeta, wich is just PERFECT)a lot, Gerardo as well. I'd highly recommend the 'Palosanto' from Carlos Pinana too. As for the cante I like Diego El Cigala a lot, Corrien tiempos album is a must, but I also like the lagrimas negras wich he did with a cuban pianist, or other innovate groups like Ojos de Brujo...and the list goes endlesly
