Paco Cepero

I hadn't really paid much attention to Cepero, but recently I'd been listening to Rancapino a lot and noticed than in some of my favourite songs the cantaor would mention him, or someone would yell his name in the jaleos.

So I did what I usually do when something catches my interest and got every scrap of music I could find by him and listened to nothing but Cepero for a couple weeks...

Anyway, I have a question about some of his bulerias.
If you listen to the title tracks for the LPs Abolengo and Corazon y Bordon these bulerias seem a little different to me.

Abolengo sounds more like a buleria and if not for its similarity to Abolengo, I would be asking what palo Corazon y Bordon was.

Can anyone tell me what it is I'm noticing but not understanding?

Long time no hear... how's it going? PS My guitar is coming soon, still waiting for it to finish, last I heard working on the fretboard - but I can wait a bit longer. Your avatar reminded me of it...

Yeah, sometimes I go MIA. I think I'll be back more regular but not in such high concentrations as before. New ADHD meds have changed my behaviours, LOL

I've got a new camera so I'll be redoing the avatar soon. It's tough to take a photo when the subject is so glossy. If anyone has skillz in that area, maybe they could make a tutorial thread for us.

You must itching to get your hands on your white girl by now. You're going to have to do a full write up on her for us.
