RE: Tomatito Tremolo por Rondena (in reply to Jan Willem)
ah interesting,
I had some help from this vid, and the chord positions make it clear that E isn't tuned to D, but it says rondena on the clip so I'm a little confused still.
RE: Tomatito Tremolo por Rondena (in reply to Stu)
That's weird, I'm pretty sure the music that's playing is actually totally different than what Tomatito played in the video. The music is definitely Minera, but I don't think they would have mislabeled it in the video. Someone took a "Rondeñã" video and replaced the audio with a Minera.
To clarify something. They made a mistake when printing the CD. They switched the rondena with the minera.. Sometimes it happens. I think jesus de rosario has a similar mistake. On one of the two CDs where he plays is a false palo written down.
hi stu, i just opened the tab in yr 1st post, haven't looked at it properly yet, can't open any other gp5 attachments.... am i missing anything? are you transcribing/learning the rest of the minera? it's on my "to do" list, but it's a way down!
i think i had the encuentro before guitarra gitana came out, or maybe before i got that cd or something, so i knew the minera from there first. when i got the cd it was obviously labelled the wrong way round.... that and the rondeña is pretty distinctive with the Montoya bits at the end etc.

The GP5 links dont work!!
Its the same as the minera tremolo from enceuntro book.
I transcribed it from audio and video then with some confusion over tuning, then found out it was in the book in standard tuning so just adapted it so it was correct, i was pretty pleased to see i got most of it right...
anyway if youve got the book its no use to you....although a gp5 version may be. If ya want it i can mail it. let me know.
