Humidifiers
Hi there guys, just checking who here uses humidifiers? and are there like a few brands that are popular in humidifiers? like fender/gibson to electrics, skb/gator to cases
I'm thinking of whether to get a humidifier for my Anders..
I make my own humidifiers. Just use plastic containers, and put a damp sponge inside, with vent holes in the container. They work a lot better than a lot of the commercial products. I used to get sharp fret ends in the winter, but never since I started doing this.
Soap dishes, 35mm film canisters, ziploc bags all work well.
Just make sure whatever you use doesn't drip inside the case, or worse the guitar.
