I hold The guitar I like very much, now it is real nice to experiment with different tumb strokes and how different it can sound...just lovely. I also do like the art of rasgeado you sent me, I can hear it in your playing

Thanks for the replies, everyone.
I checked out the Granados solea por buleria. It's really cool but not too much compas stuff. Unless there's another one in there somewhere.
In the Juan book that I have there's a solea por medio in there but he clearly explains that it's not the same thing as solbul.
Im going to check out Ricardo's lessons eventually, especially the alzapua one. Over at flamenco teacher, you cant purchase just one lesson. The initial deposit must be $40, which is perfectly reasonable but I just dont have the extra to spare.
Hey Kozz, how about another recording soon. Let's hear that flashy picado on the new guitar!

The “compas and guitar” track here was really helpful when I was first trying to figure out solea por bulerias. Just played along with it over and over. It’s all very standard stuff, and it offers a good sense of how certain phrases of compas “start” on 12 and others start on 1, which was one of the trickier things for me to get the hang of.
No tabs, but it shouldn’t be too hard to figure out what’s going on just by listening and trying to play along.
Ricardo’s F-T lesson is a great companion to this. He plays a different set of chords and phrases, and taken together these two pretty much cover the bases for basic solxbul compas.

Hee at_leo_87, there is some solxbul in Juan Martin's Solo Flamenco part1 and if I am correct it is por medio. I will put another recording soon, got myselves a webcam since last week....
