RE: Who is who ?...Tha Real Chalenge. (in reply to Guest)
Hey look at me, i am a guitar god, Paco taught me this, now...I AM paco, because I can play JUST LIKE HIM!!!! Everyone must RESPECT MY AUTHORITY and take my lessons and buy my T shirts!!!!!
Wait I feel more "PACO"" coming through me....
And even those little ant followers that could never match Paco's speed, like Diego del Morao or Tomate....how dare they even try to pretend to play their simple music:
I must be the true GOD of the guitar.
Oh but wait, I came in 3rd place on the alegrias challenge!

Well, I am in bed sick with the flu both today and yesterday. I hate television so this is just the type of entertainment I need to keep me in bed and on the mend. My teacher Pedro Cortes has responded to me and asked me to post this to Mr.Ruben.....
"You should tell him that flamenco is about knowing how to acompany singers and dancers and then playing your own music. Tell him any classicaly trained Russian can transcribe Paco to the TEE.
That proves nothing only that you can transcribe.....big deal! When Jose Maria Banderas ...Paco's newphew was working with Paco, he had to learn his own parts.....paco didn't spend the time to teach him the parts....so if he didn't teach his own newphew I doubt he would take the time to teach anyone.... and believe me when I see Paco I will show him the posts and we'll see who's the fake.", Pedro Cortes.

Seriously Ruben, both Jason and Ricardo (and probably a few others here) are superior to you technically and also (unlike you) create their own excellent music. Give it a rest!

Hey I shook the hand of Ramon de Algeciras and had a coffee with him.
That means..... I've touched THE HAND OF PACO BY PROXY!
Ha! For that you demand respect??!!
I, Mr. Estevan, shook the hand of PACO HIMSELF, and had...um, was it beer? wine? it's a bit blurry now, but we were drinking something - not just coffee - along with some friends in my old teacher's kitchen. And PACO HIMSELF was fooling around on a guitar and playing bits of this and that as we all made requests. He was very modest, very cool. (But he played like PACO HIMSELF).
I demand that the Foro Admin institute a new category for those who have come into contact with PACO HIMSELF, I'm not sure what we should call it, maybe Pacofied Fellow or something like that. I'm sure there are many of us.

he he he
I went to london some years ago and who was hanging out in Jingles Kitchen but PACO HIMSELF. I remember him being really good at scales and peeling labels off beer bottles and another time we had a barbeque near Motril with Chonchi Heredia and in came PACO HIMSELF and he ate a pork chop that I cooked...and asked me if I knew who he was!!

you know in those movies where they challenge each other to a fist/gun/dance/ or, in the case of zoolander, modeling fights? and everyone starts screaming and chanting fight, fight, fight! or hey everybody, it's a dance off!
this reminds me of that.
in one corner, we have jason and the rest of the forum. in the other, we have new comer, the professor, ruben diaz!
this competition would be better if it was a COMPOSITION challenge. transcribing and analyzing something is not as impressive, imo.

Composition, that sounds good. Or even better, tag team WWF style kickboxing would be more fun I think!

Just for the records.. i remember somebody on the forum (seriously) mentioning he had Pacos number. It would be an eazy task to check what Paco thinks about this.... oh and maybe that person could also suggest him to get an account here, and write regularly? OR could someone give ME Pacos number? Does he give lessons via Skype?? ... sorry i just got a bit excited because of all this Paco-Talk.
but im serious about making Paco get an account here I mean we have Ricardo, Grisha, Jason (deliberate order),... why not Paco?

Uh forget about who came....how can I have a BBQ with Chonchi????????
Well I know her brother Marcial and Jingle of course so I ended up being invited round for a BBQ and Chonchi and her son were there. PACO HIMSELF didnt actually turn up that day...I just thought it sounded funny in the vein of Estebans post. The thing was he did actually phone up Jingle and say "primo,...its Paco...do you remember who I am?"
