Recent CD

I just wanted to let you all know about a fairly recently released CD by a local flamenco guitarist here in San Diego.

John Moore, aka Juan Moro, has over 10 years experience playing in Tablaos in Spain, studied with Felipe Maya, David Serva and others.

John has taught many San Diegans about many aspects of flamenco, including dance and cante accompaniment. He is one of the most knowledgeable flamencos in this region of the US and is a great person.

You can listen to samples and purchse his Cd Cinfusion (as in Sín Fusión) here:

Enjoy!

-Anthony

RE: Recent CD (in reply to paleto3

Thanks for the tip, Anthony. John was my flamenco teacher in San Diego for a year in 2004. Outstanding guy, excellent teacher. It is very fun to have his CD and be able to say "That is my maestro!". Anyone looking for flamenco lessons in San Diego should definitely contact John Moore, moorej@ucsd.edu (as a small sideline to flamenco, he is a linguistics professor at UCSD)... he prefers students with intermediate/advanced playing skills who are serious about practicing and learning what he teaches.
