I like to buy recordings and get the booklets myself, but there is also a lot of out of print items that I have been able to find here. If you are into cante flamenco you can get all the old guys here - Paquera, Manolo Caracol, Perla De Cadiz, Terremoto de Jerez and on and on and you can also find the younger guys too, and there is some guitar recordings by the most common guitar soloist.

That's an unbelievable library. There are indeed a lot of discontinued and rare recordings all uploaded in high quality. There are also a lot very easily available recordings by lesser known struggling artists today. Please consider buying originals of material that you really like.

these look cool, but i cant download, ive never used this filesahre stuff, can some one post how to use it !!
my gosh im silly
i like megaupload more than rapidshare because you can download as much as you want without having to wait 15 minutes in between downloads.
so if there's a choice between megaupload and rapidshare, choose megaupload. type in the code on the right hand side, then click download file, then it might make you wait 45 seconds. after 45 seconds, click on "regular download."
for rapidshare, click "free user" under the left side speedometer thing, wait one minute (see the countdown thing?), then click download.
there you go. dont download too much at a time. i find that i appreciate cd's more when i give each one a week's worth of attentive listening. downloading too much material too fast is overload.

From what I've read there is no law which enforces against downloading from sites like Rapidshare - yet - but the guy hosting the site is putting himself in a lot of danger.
The labels putting out these CD's have to sue and the detectives who look for uploaders/downloaders usually do searches using titles of hit songs/movies. I'd think outside of Spain they're more interested in busting people downloading Amy Winehouse than El Chocolate. I'd keep away from CD's from living artists - and it's not fair to them anyways.
I've often heard things like "Oh these artists don't earn much from the CD's anyways" as if it's all the more reason to lower their earnings

Just a question - is nobody worried that this is against the law?
Really ? but ...i am not doing anything...i am just sitting here
i am using exactly the same finger and the same buttons i am in my normal everyday routines...email ...forum etc
what i am doing hasent changed....just whats in front of me
this is the equivalent of finiding a wallet abandoned by the side of the street with 2 tickets to a Paco de lucia concert...i havent stolen it .....but it is there and theres no ID ..i am so confused lol we would all like to do the right thing ........but this is asking too much...its like the ultimate test of right or wrong vs willpower getting seduced by the pretty colours of the covers ...i think even the lawyer would secretly understand how impossible this was to fight..
but dont download anything its moraly wrong ...i made the mistake of downloading 3 albums i didnt have and i just hate myself for it..gonna denie myself desert tomarow to teach myself a lesson
I pitty the guy when Kate sees it..emilio is there

It's the same as drinkin' beer....only after the third beer you'll know if it will be ok....I've downloaded about 8 and feels good, try it!!!
It's great to listen to the albums this way, and if I really like it, and the album is still available I would buy it anyway. IMO it's better this way, than via 30 sec clips......I've bought a few mistakes that way

Hi Florian, you dont have to feel bad about that. I mean, do you feel bad when you borrow a book from library, or a cd or a dvd. Libraries are important things (sorry for my english) for spreading information and culture, Im sure you understand that. Without them the knowledge would be only for the chosen few, elite and the rich.
This site looks like a exelent flamenco library and comparing to my local ones, I can use this from my own computer and dont have to fysicly go and borrow the cds.
How does that sound? I hope this will help you to feel better.
