im enjoying just getting a compas down to this dance form, i have the compass going ok, from page 62 juan marting bk1, just wondering about some decent falsetas to add there after i have a few transcriptions i was thinking if stealing a few from sabicas fandango on his flamenco puro cd track 4, also i have various transcriptions, anyone have any favourite falsetas they want to suggest ???
RE: fandango de huelva falsetas (in reply to minordjango)
Ive just invested in the Pepe Habichuela DVD and tabs mainly for the Fandango de Huelva (El Dron basically). There is a shortened clip of the DVD on Youtube, a really iconic piece in my view. Anyway another few months should get the basics digested and then onto refining it - you can mix the falsetas up with the JM one which is a fairly comfortable piece.

Minordjango, In the Peña flamenca de Huelva they charge 30,-€ a month for two very short lessons a week. (Tuesday and Thursday) Antonio who teaches there will make sure you learn the accents using your feets and not a score. Body is always better than mental.
