Odd question, I know, but since today it looks like I'm going to study in Hong Kong starting fall and staying there for 3 years. At least. As you can probably imagine, I'd like to continue pursuing my hobby there.
So...does anyone know anything about flamenco in Hong Kong? Is there any sign of a "flamenco scene" of its own there? It's a big city, after all. Of course, I'm mostly looking for a good teacher. But who knows. In the worst case, I'm sure there'd be dance schools, and dance schools would know guitarists - but I was just wondering and planning ahead somewhat, and maybe someone here knows something...

You may want to check out Raymond Au, probably the most active guitar teacher in HK. This guy has a lot of experience, and has lessons with Paco Pena. He has a good website at http://www.flamenco.idv.hk/ which is in Chinese. He teaches in Chinese Mandarin and Cantonese language and his lessons seem to be in various locations.
