Hold on you bunch of hosers while I get my two four of Export, beauty eh!
So the 'eh' on the beginner thread got me thinking, y'all probably don't know much about Canada, so here's a smattering for yah and don't take off eh - this is really old stuff.
Bob and Doug
Hey, how about these good old Canadian boys McLean and McLean, early comedy duo one now deceased...

Nice one Jim! What about Neil Young too! And The Band, part Canadian too!
Estevan, Russel Peters yah. I was talking to this guy who lived in Rhodesia (still calls it that aka Zimbabwe) and also lived in South Africa. I was asking him about South Africa and population proportion by races, white, black, colours as they call them there - in particular the changes since so many have left to go elsewhere.
So he said there are whites and blacks and estimated their percentages. And I said what about coloured people? He said they are colours also, a mix of white and black people. Then I said what about Asians - aren't they coloured people, that what I thought the South Africans characterized Asians as. He said no, they are non-white. Then I said aren't blacks non-white also? Then he laughed at the thought of the venn diagram and said Japanese were honorary whites. So I laughed my butt off! What a crazy world!
Alex, I live on the North Shore. There are a couple of vancouverites on the forum, Exitao for example. Hey Alex, who have you studied with and where are you?

I think that would be cool, but lets wait for a show worth seeing and then agree to get tickets and meet-up before hand for a beer before the show. Keep it with low expectations. I think Exitao would be game on that also - where is he btw?
Kovachian, just for you!

I was thinking more along the lines of a jam session. We all play guitar, after all. I keep hearing about this enigmatic Exitao but he has been no-show since I got here.

Bwahahahahaha! Yes, count on Don! And yes, Don without Ron would not be much. God, why did CBC let the hockey night in Canada theme go? Crazy. I am not even a big hockey fan, but how about those Canucks!
Alex, OK, what we should do is have a juerga. We need lots of booze, we should invite a pile of flamencos, bring guitars and dancers. Once the weather gets warmer. What do you think about them apples! Something to think about...
