headstock

Hallo everybody,
I want to buy a new headstock for my flamenco guitar, where can I get a good one, the price is not important.

Dikoha, you mean "Machine Heads" also known as or "tuning machines, tuners, etc."

If you search the Foro's archives, there are previous hepful discussions on the subject. Issues such as the need of lighter weight tuning machines for a flamenco guitar, or the relation bewteen price-cosmetic appearence- and workmanship are reviewed.

A good place to start is Luthier Mercantile International (LMI) a traditional and reliable source of supplies for guitar makers; prices are quite competitive and assortment selective but comprhensive: you have Alessi -expensive- but truly beautiful and accurate; the notorious "Fustero" -my favorite- on Falmenco. Gotoh, very nice machines, a trifle too heavy for my taste.

If you need to really get "nasty" then there is Rodgers: long waiting list (but these days you may get lucky). The most expensive out there, but polished to such high a degree of brilliancy you may need to wear sunglasses when you tune your
instrument
