Fandango por medio question

I suspect this has been asked before, but i can't do much with the search facility at the mo, so maybe someone could explain or point me in the right direction

When playing the verse in Fandango (De Huelva i'm thinking of really, i know there's loads of different types of fandangos, i don't know if it is same or different for other types/styles either), if you play por medio instead of por arriba is it a straight transposition of the chords from one to the other, or is it done slightly different?

i'm thinking the arriba/E chords would be (optional passing chords in brackets depending on letra/melody, and i know the chords change in slightly diffrerent places depending same);

G7 - C
C - (C7) - F
G7 - C
C - (D7) - G
G7 - C
C - (C7) - F - E

so does that just become;

C7 - F
F - (F7) - Bflat
C7 - F
F - (G7) - C
C7 - F
F/F7 - Bflat - A

also, any other passing chords used would be useful

Sometimes you go directly into F. Especially when playing Alosno style. (Camaron, Calle real is well known but horrible example.)

Also when you start In C you normally dont play the 7 but a Cmajor/G (G bass)

Besides there are diffirent versions where you keep the last Bb longer. Thats easy. Just listen to the cantaor. But also where the last F is shorter or longer. Thats difficult. You have to know the letra.

Also, in both por arriba and por medio, you dont enter directly in the chords. First chord after having played compases de rasguados would be A (123) C (or F) por medio and E (123) G7 (or C) por arriba.
Thats very important in order to get the right feel.

i was partly asking because i've seen/heard the things you mention such as starting on F, and starting on C (not C7) with G bass, but wasn't sure if they were standard.

also that thing about starting with A or E (depending on key)... i remember that from when i first learnt FDH, but the guitarist used to add a 7th and flat 9 to his E chord (ie E, B, F, G#, D, E) half way to G7.... i'd forgotten that completely!
