Practice Routine

Hi there guys, just wondering what you guys think a beginner's practice routine should be?
All I'm doing atm is just rasgueado, focusing on getting each finger's sound properly n clearly, timing of the rasgueado to the beat and just learning picado with the C (some mode, phygian?) scale, starting from the low E note.

cheers

technique is great, but ultimately you need to play some flamenco.

start with graf martinez or juan martin (insert laughs here) and listen to some solea.

also, do a ton of googling, the more information you have the more things fit into context and it all makes sense much quicker.

cheers!

as for a set schedule, dont worry about how long you do this or that, just stop if you start to get uncomfortable in a serious way

I started with the Graf Martinez book and practiced technique, technique, technique.
Finally I was able to play some stuff but rythmically it was horrible at that time.
Practicing all the basics, especially reagueados, is really important, but when you start to play your first whole pieces in the compás of 12 you you should look out for some lessons and work very much with a metronome and compás loops.
