deflamenco poll results

Would be interested to hear what you guys think of these results - we've already heard a lot of praise for the Santiago Lara. Anyone heard the Paco Cepera?

Great to see Estela won best book ! Also pleased for Marina Heredía with best album. I'm not surprised about Paco Cepera, not that I've heard his CD but have been told by various record shops here in Granada that he is their best seller. One shop owner put it like this " Gracias a Cepero vivo" In other words its thanks to sales of Cepero CDs he makes a living.

Was sorry that Jorge Prado and EL Bola did not get the best jazz flamenco fusion. Jorge played the Eshavira last night with Emilio and it was fantastic, and that's coming from som-one who is not a great fan of flute in flamenco. We also had the pleasure of having Jorge in the studio yesterday playing on Emilio's new album, and Emilio playing on a track for Jorge's next release.
