TAB Question - Trafalgar Intro

I have the Faucher tab for Trafalgar by Gerardo Nunez, and learned to play the
intro. Now when I listen to Gerardo play it, obviously beside being better at it
than I am - It seems to me, that what he is playing, and what Faucher tabbed
are not consistent.

Is there anybody on the forum who plays this piece that can tell me if the tab is
correct? The page numbers on the tab are pages 78/79

Thanks,
Jeff

I would say it is correct. Which part do you think is NOT, I will double check for you. At a glance, and what I remember playing it was correct (the free intro). The only spot that is wrong in the piece is at p. 92 the last line, 2nd and 3rd measures, the notes are half a beat early, and need to shift all over half a beat. One of those strange little spots that I think are deliberately wrong to find plagerism. Easy to fix if you can play most of it in compas.

The whole "rio ancho" tab of faucher is one half beat shifted. Till I checked this.. I was wondering very much, coz it has a different flair when its shifted.. But the intro of trafalgar is 100% correct as Ricardo already wrote.

I play it, and I think it sounds correct. I think there is just the way that Gerardo
plays it, which is uniquely his style. Which is very hard to capture. I think maybe
that's why I was thinking something wasn't right.
