LOL! Actually I must confess, my Grandfather comes from St. Helens. You've put me in mind of this one... These two old Lancashire sisters share a house. When one of them passes away the other arranges the funeral. She visits the stonemason for a memorial stone. After looking around she say's "My sister would have just wanted something very simple like 'She Was Thine', nothing fancy." "No problem", says the stonemason, "I'll get in done and put in position by tomorrow". A couple of days later, the old lady goes to the cemetry and is furious when she looks at the stone which reads "She Was Thin". She goes back home and calls the stonemason on the phone. "You stupid bugger, go and look at that stone, you've left the 'E' out." "I don't know how that could have happened", says the stonemason, "but I'll get somebody to sort it out straight away. Meanwhile please accept our sincerest apologies". The next day the old lady goes to the cemetry and looks at the stone, which now reads "E She Was Thin". Ron
