London Peña Guitar Course

Peña Flamenca de Londres Guitar Course

If you are based in London or the south east of England, book to come on this course! At £70 for six two-hour sessions, it has to be the best value course in the country!!

We are happy that Francisco Antonio is going to lead the course again this year, concentrating firstly on Solareas, plus some other material depending on how we progress.

Hi Val,

When I first went on the course last year it was the first time I'd picked up a guitar! I decided I wanted to learn, I put 'flamenco guitar' into the ebay search and bought what came up - hadn't a clue what I was buying!

I said to a friend I was worried about going and he said don't worry, the teacher will just be really pleased you are keen to learn. And he was right it was fine. The guy sitting next to me - PJ - saw I didn't know much and wrote out all the chords for me.

We also have a really clear and enthusiastic teacher, and if we get a lot of bookings we'll get a 'teaching assistant' to go round and help people too.

And don't forget that although we will be learning pieces, a lot of the teaching is about how to structure a piece and how it fits with the dance and song.

So all in all, you have no excuse Val! You have to come!!
