First of all, keep playing, studying, going to shows, reading, listening, and dancing......you've got to put time into it. If it's really that important to you, you have to sacrifice alot of the things you take for granted to make time. Become a 'flamenco bum.'

Val, of course I was only kidding, when I said 'become a flamenco bum.' I think that is funny, and you can understand why I said that, it's more humor than necessity. But time is necessary what ever you do, and that is not a joke, and I wanted to lighten up after telling you that. It is hard, and I am in constant guilt over not having the time that I would like to keep. Accomplishing anything takes time; we all need the time! That is true for everyone, but I do like to make fun, and sometimes the joke is on me! Oh well...good luck! Oh yeah and with the guitar, like my brother use to say, "blow the cobwebs out!" Translated that means, practice everything you remember, and get back into form....then start with the new stuff....don't worry, you will do fine!

Yeah, and you could just work on it and record it again, later if you feel like it. I'm sure you did work on it if you say; that's the ticket, because maybe there are plenty of things to get to, but definitly brush it off....

Now you're mentioning things that you didn't even consider in your first post, and that is all you need, is an independant courage, and challenges that at first you revisit, and then, take hold of and make anew. Good going Val!
