classical forum, there is hope for us!

A little while back there were some slightly annoying anti flamenco messages on a classical forum

BUT there is hope for us, maybe we are not doomed after all!!

read the next quote:
On a local radio interview Sr. Angel Romero was asked, "...is it true that
those who can not play classical guitar become flamenco guitarists?" Angel
replied, ,"No, it is quite the opposite, those who can not play flamenco
become classical guitarists."

After studying flamenco guitar for about a year now I understand Angel's
statement. Flamenco is very technically demanding and helps develop a good
classical technique.

Peter, what's with this? Do you own a Schramm guitar? I'm currently taking David's online apprentice course.

Hi Tom,

David Schramm has posted this on a classical forum.

I do not have a Schramm guitar.

becouse there was some negativity about flamenco, from the classical world, I found it refreshing to see this post of him, and want to let you share it.

that what you point out, where the addresses that goes with the message,

Hope i understand you right, Peter.

Ok...now I understand. Since I quit smoking my mind is much slower LOL!

You should see the Barbero replica that Dave builds if you haven't already.

I would give you the addres if it was possible, but it is an outlook express ( email)
newsgroup, so I don't think it is possible.

The most comments where about good and bad flamenco cd's, and one said that Romero must been jocking, and the writer of the article replied, no it was not, he was serious......

greetings, Peter.
