Nice interview. Carrión's interviewing skills are very nice too. Confident, gracious and very polite. Seems like a true professional.

As for romertio's baile question, I wonder who it is that says you have to play for dance at all. I thought the roots of flamenco, and the mas puro de puro was and is always cante. Was I misinformed?

Ah! Well I see.

Obviously I'm no one to argue with Sabicas, so I guess I've got my work cut out for me. I'll be nigh on 6o before I'm alowed to play solo.

you know there are guitarists that only play for cante and vise versa.
