Trying her no.2

Hi again, people!

I made deal with Johannes from Mundo Flamenco.
I'll take Hnos. Sanchiz Lopez 2F.
I can send it back if not satisfied.
Since I'm new to this... and never had a real flamenca in my hands... I want you to give me some advice.
What should I be careful about... what is pro, what con... if you understand me.
Ricardo, you mentioned trying different strings? Which ones?

Thanks!
M

If it's from mundo flamenco, you can be sure you will keep the guitar.

Johannes selects the instruments by himself as far as I know, so he gets only the good ones. If he has not found anything wrong with the guitar, you wont find something, too.

Hey, look forward to your guitar, you'll love it.

I don't think that he will pay me any bribes for this post...

Congratulations Matic. Johannes is a classy guy. Great business man with a very good reputation. If your going to buy in Europe(Germany) I highly recommend Mundo-Flamenco.

Try many strings and see what YOU like best. For these guitars I love Luthier basses with La Bella 820B trebles.

Try this article:

http://www.fernandezmusic.com/Judging%20guitar%20quality.html

It will help you with the externals, but true quality takes years of experience to judge.

Sounds like this company you are dealing with is a good one. Hopefully they aren't the type that threatens to sue their customers.

Speaking of which, after a recent discussion on the forum, I received an email from a particular seller asking me if I'd considered the "legal implications" of my statements in the thread.

But from what I've heard, you hopefully shouldn't have problems with Mundo Flamenco...

Thanks for your replies!
Yes, theres actually no doubt I will like it. If I just look at my crappy classical I'm rubbing at the moment...

Johannes is very professional. He kindly answered all my questions... I can just hope it will also remain at this level.

You probably know that a 2F is Mundo-Flamenco best-seller. And Sanchiz brothers must be very busy all the time.

I hardly wait to get her... brrrrr... so nervous... can't wait, can't wait!!!

Oh, Miguel thanks for wonderful link!

Matic,
here's another one, written by the famous luthier William Cumpiano. He wrote a book on guitar-building that I used to guide me to make my 1st guitar.
