Not long to go now duende and she will be in your arms The rosette looks good. Will it (the rosette) be clear polished?

I think this business of getting photos at different stages is an enormous plus. Guess a little bit like a pregnancy (not really ladies but you know what I mean ). Don't know if other luthiers do it.

It's obviously cypress (?), but what specs (nut width, scale) did you go with? What, no pegs?

Looking good Henrik. I take it you are going for the orange finish?

Lionel I at first wanted my Anders a yellow or certainly light colour. In the end I chatted to Anders and we ended up orange (ish). With the french polish finish it looks really classy. The purfling and distinct rosette (not like the one above but the zigzag that we have seen here before) also add to it. My Bernal is lighter and my Burguet a yellow - but it is the Anders that everyone tries to pick up before I snatch it away to safety As always have a chat with the man. He even advised me on m/c button colour - detail or what

That looks very nice man! I was reading that you are going to put the orange finish.

My Anders peg-head will have no colour in the polish and yet another 'unique' rosette design, though I am not indicating a preference They have all been sweet, the ones I have seen.

I also think that the orange look can be a bit "toy-ish" but i already have
yellow/orange guitar so...

If this guitar turns out to be a realy classy one im gona order a negra as well.
but in a few years time.
I like to have lots of guitars.

In the right lighting, the bright orange finish guitars look amazing and flashy, very flamenco. In other lighting, yeah they don't look like wood, more like plastic or something. My south american friend teases me "where is your carrot guitar ricardo?". Regardless, in my experience, all the orange flamenco guitars I have played sound freakin killer. I know it is just a coincidence, but I associate that visual asthetic to a kick ass flamenco tone. I also have some yellow guitars that sound good too.

In the end it is what it sounds like and feels like that is important. Like the scale length issue, I put finish color and style, in the hands of the maker, what he prefers. Finish is a BIG part of the way the guitar will sound. (I know color is just stain, but...)

I think this guy's guitar looks pretty sharp.

Honestly, I like that not every guitar looks the same, like violins and cellos for example.

Cichuelo got a orange guitar in his Encuentro vid.
Could be mistaken for a carot from time to time

Can´t wait to get mine own

My yamaha is a very bright/vivid shade of yellow. And to be honest, I'm not that keen on it- I prefer the warm orange colour. Either that or clear lacquer, IMO. It probably doesn't affect the tone, but its nice to have the guitar the colour you like.

I just want to add, that the orange color that my french polisher uses is different than the factory colors you all know, like Condes and Sanchis etc. These guitars are all sprayed with Nitro or plastic lacquer.
The fact that this is french polish, gives it a more natural look and much more depth. Looks much more elegant

5/5 it will be with me again.
