All the Cantaores who have Gold Teeth

Any singer who has goldd teeth that you can see when they sing in videos.

Marote's guitar sounds like a tuna fish can with rubber bands strethched over it. Nastay.

Ah .. flamenco teeth! These are important indicators of social conditions and commercial success (or lack of it.)

Lole Montoya, daughter of “La Negra” and one half of the Lole y Manuel duo started out with big awkward looking teeth. They went through a period where they looked more like black stumps – I have a bit of old VHS tape showing this. She ended up with a perfect set. Let’s all sing the praises of flamenco dentists.

I have searched YouTube which seems to be purged of the black period.

I was told Agujetas had his teeth veneered, but I guess by the time I saw him he did have whit teeth, but for some reason my brain only sees him with gold teeth.

Flamenco hair and teeth are very important.

There is a strong relationship between child poverty and bad teeth so it’s no surprise that the history of flamenco is paved with dental disaster. The truly great singer Chocolate comes to mind but I can’t bring myself to post a video.

I think veneers have gotten cheaper, I remember being in elementary school and EVERYONE having silver teeth. Now I never see it on kids. I'm pretty lucky to have really strong teeth otherwise I would've been boca de plata too......

You will find many bald guitarists and bald singers but no (or very few) bald dancers - what is going on here?
