common chord progressions in flamenc...

hi guys

There is common 2-5-1 chord progression in jazz music for instance and it makes me wonder if there are any common chord progressions in rumba songs ? Please, let me know.

The same as jazz and any other western music....with the ADDITION of the progressions used in flamenco phrygian keys...ie identical progressions to siguiriya solea fandango taranta minera granaina tiento/tango colombianas etc etc... ie "flamenco guitar specific" voicings and progressions.

If you are trying to pick up say a GK song, knowing your flamenco will make things go a lot faster.

yikes...lot's of missleading stuff in there. At best, it's just confusing some issues regarding flamenco harmony.

Oh well.
