I was in "Fuenteovejuna" performed by Ballet Nacional de España in Hamburg Opera.

It was a deep disappointment. The music was even playback, even if you dont concentrate on the silly story it wasnt even worth watching.

No, no, no... really try to avoid this one.

Poveda is amazing, lots of feeling for a young singer. Florian, send Simon a copy of that concert with Chicuelo, I think it will change his mind. Or check out this concert vid http://www.kennedy-center.org/programs/millennium/archive_month.cfm?month=10&year=2002 go down to oct. 1st.

I don't care for his CD's much, but live he is one of my favorites today.

Absolutely, I have his CDs and they are most enjoyable. It was a live performance (in Jerez) that I found rather theatrical.

Well, some of them are going to be in Paris. Lucky me. I'll miss Sara Baras, but I've just bought my tickets for Vicente Amigo !

And for once, tickets are inexpensive... 10€ instead of the usual 40€++...

Just can't wait...

Wished they would be always that cheap, but that is probably just a dreaming
