London Flamenco Festival 2014

anyone been to see Sara Baras or Miguel Poveda this week?

anyone going to any of the other shows?

It's the first time I hear about this festival but sounds like a good opportunity to get well paid as in spain flamencos rarely get paid well...

it runs every year, and has done since 2003, at Sadlers Wells Theatre in London for a couple of weeks in February/March.

As Sadlers Wells is predominantly a dance venue baile dominates the programme, but this year they also have Miguel Poveda, last year they had Tomatito and Estrella Morente, and the year before Vicente Amigo, Gerardo Nuñez and José Mercé.

Someone usually posts up the schedule when the shows are announced in the "events" section, and people from here post to meet up after shows sometimes.

because of travel and ticket costs I only usually get to one or two shows each year. 2012 I had to choose between Vicente and Gerardo, that was hard! This year Belen Maya.
