Tientos

Does anyone here have any tientos compás tracks?

I'm having trouble with a tientos falseta I want to play for a dance choreography. I lifted it from a recording, but it's out of compás, there's like an odd/extra couple of beats, like media compás, but actually more of a "cuarta compás"

I would like to just play around with it over a compás track to come up with ways to get it into compás. The falseta is all in sixteenths, doesn't have the trad syncopated triplet feel. I have tried playing it over tangos compás tracks (2 tangos compases to one of tientos), which is ok for "checking" but not so good for working out.

I could upload the falseta if anyone wants to help...?

try the flamenco metronome ,, it has a tientos and you can see where you are in the beat ...

you might but there are no problems ..it asks you to run java update ...i run it all the time .. i click the ok box and it runs just fine , it is a really useful site ,,and the guy is a member here as well
