Paco Peña "Flamenco Guitar&quo...

Has anyone got the twofer Flamenco Guitar, consisting of Montoya/Ricardo and Azahara?

And if so, can they tell me if Nimbus perpetuated the typo they made in the notes for the latter, wherein I appear to state that the accents of soleares are on beats 2-6-8-10-12 instead of 3-6-8-10-12?

I didn’t buy the twofer because I already had the constituents discs; and I’ve never seen the notes.

(The first I knew of this blooper was when Ben Verdery called me from New York to say WTF?)

yes, they repeated the typo!

I had them both individually on cassette, so replaced them with the twofer cd

I also have the not-quite-twofer/compilation of the first two lp's released as a cd and called "Flamenco Guitar". And i have the second lp (also called "flamenco guitar") in it's entirety on vinyl and mp3, so i'm missing the tientos and the cantiñas from the first lp ("the incredible Paco Peña") if you or anyone else is able to send them my way (need begging emoticon here )

Thanks, Mark. Nimbus are more conscientious than most, but I can’t say I’m surprised.

well, when you actually learn solea you realize it's not always accented as implied, so technically it's not a typo either. To understand why something be "perpetuated" it should be obvious.

It is a typo, because it’s not what I wrote

80's rock tune... I only need to see those numbers and hear the song and I am transported to the community swimming pool when I was a lad. Nostalgia

Ouch… Showing my age…

Update

OK, found it on Wikipedia. It’s a funny story… if you didn’t have that number!

I wonder how often Jenny did *69 before just had to change the number. In solea I only accent 6,9.
