steady gig

Well, I've been contacted by the music director of a posh club here in Scottsdale called Barcelona to do a steady gig on Monday nights as a guitar duo. I got together with a local guitarist and practiced today. We put together about 20 songs, Ottmar and Gipsy Kings, Brazilian, Latin, etc. We did a Sevillanas cycle, too. Our future plans include some Sevillanas that Paco did with some other guitarist, and adding more flamenco as we get the time to work it out. It's my first steady gig so it should be kind of fun. 7-10 on Monday night is a little weird, but hey... it leaves the weekend for my higher paying, private engagements. See my new and improved website for my schedule! :)
