SA Flamenca 

Hi There

Im from South Africa.. and no there arent Lions and Zebra's walking around in the streets :)

Currently playing abit of pop flamenco and still studying the art of pure Flamenco

Oh and this is a great forum you guys have here, ive been browsing for some time now and it was very helpful

When people hear you from South Africa theres always the question of wild animals roaming around the streets lol.

Erik, few years ago i believed that fllamenco only comprised of Gipsy kings songs until i woke up lol. So Rhumba technique is ok I guess but the other 99.9% still needs lotsa work which is 1 of the reasons im here... To learn :-)

ALL flamenco needs rhythm...sometimes more obvious (like rumba) other times more hidden/personal (like tarantas). One of my flamenco school mates wanted to become (and became) a professional flamenco player after watching/knowing only the film Carmen with Paco de Lucia :-)
