Advice: Beginner daily practices :)

I am new to Flamenco, but I was curious forever. I also have practiced off and on in the past. Now I guess I am serious about picking it up again..
Now the question:
I have few books, Gerhard Martinez, Juan Martin ... but I need few good daily practices. I need something that improves me fast and proper. send me a pdf , or link , I would very much appreciate it.
Just a side note, I plan to follow Juan Martin's method, and I am at the first Malaguena...
Does anyone know of any flamenco players hang outs in Portland, OR?

I think the Juan Martin book is a good place to start. Unfortunately in flamenco there's no such thing as fast & proper. The first 2/3 of the book is basically musical exercises. After the last song there is some exercises as well. If you can't get a teacher read the book not just the songs, he talks about proper sitting & hand technique etc. Search the forum, it's an encyclopedia of helpful info you just have to sort through the bad advice (like mine ) and the good advice. and compas above all else.
