I thought I might share some Requinto playing with el Trio "Los Tres Reyes".

Una maquina bien afinada.

I grew up listening to my parents favorite Trio, Los Panchos.
Listening to them tonight brought back so many memories, Enjoy

Interesting how Gilberto turned out to be he greatest virtuoso of the requinto who ever lived, and his twin brother Raul, always playing in the same group, turned out to be just a very good backup singer and backup guitarist.

Los Panchos may have it for the vocals, but I'm sure you know Gilberto's requinto break on La Malagueña.......!!!

I have to agree with Richard. Gilberto in his prime was just something special. Nice post Cuerdas.
