No image opens :O[ , but I guess that´s just due to the odd internet over here.
Maybe later.

PS:
The new camera arrived, and I´m just bbbblown away by the very first pics from yesterday.
Though not perfect / me not firm yet with the manual navigation, the overall capturing quality alone makes good for litte imperfections.
Finally details like with fur come through better than I ever dared to wish.

Perfect, thanks. My first guitar was a 60's Watkins Rapier electric that I saw in a shop window just like that, for £15. The one in my photo is a Gibson, I think.

A decent photo should always tell some kind of story, right?

Reminds me of when I used to stalk the windows of a music store where there was this guitar I really wanted and I would dream about it and all, thinking about owning it made me so happy and cheered me up.
It was a Gretsch hollowbody, you just made me relive those moments..

Nice photo!

Exactly! that IS the art!
it tells the exact same story of the song por bulerias in the video

And it does - a story of GAS Nice shot (again)

And I can see the little girl, many years from now, telling her partner how her dad used to stop and look at the guitars in the window...

Nice photo Simon, as always, and it does tell a story.

Yes. I bought my first guitar in Paracho after a perilous and adventurous trip when I was 19.

In 2006 I went to Morelia, one of the world's most beautiful cities. After several relaxing days, I rented a car and drove to Patzcuaro over the excellent new road. I'm not very religious, but if any place embodies someone's spirit, it is Patzcuaro for don Vasco de Quiroga, the first bishop of Michoacan, a truly admirable man.

Then I said to myself, well, it's just a short drive to Uruapan. There's supposed to be a very nice hotel there. Indeed there was--an excellent restaurant as well. Of course it's only 30 km from Uruapan to Paracho, though the road is steeply mountainous and heavy with dangerous traffic.

So I drove to Paracho, just to look around for old times' sake, visit Navarro, Castillo, Huipe and Abel Garcia--not to buy a guitar of course, just to visit.

I bought two.
