Why is this considered picado?

Hey everyone,

Look at the first exercise of this site, http://home.comcast.net/~flamencoguitar/Picado.htm
Is there such a thing as picado besides the use of the indice and medio one?

Thanks,
Skai

the first one is pulgar and right hand exercise, i think hes made a mistake and placed the exercise under the wrong title.

And u can do picado with any of the i , m , a fingers,

My mate Alo from this forum sometime prefers to do it using I & A

I have heard of guitarists who do it using 3 fingers

but anything using the thumb is not picado anymore.

That's funny, because I heard that picado used to be all pulgar, and then changed to use the fingers from classical technique.

Hey Florian. D'ya know Andrew Bogut?

He's an Aussie basketball player, might be the #1 or #2 draft pick for the NBA this summer!
