Former Albanian King Zog's Son Dies

This probably will be of minor interest only to Ruphus, since in previous threads regarding ideology and political philosophy (communism vs. capitalism, etc.)Ruphus is the only one who commented on my post regarding Albania under communism. Leka Zogu, son of King Zog, the last, and only, king of Albania, recently died in Tirana. Although he never renounced his claim to the throne of Albania, the government allowed him to live in Albania. His son (King Zog's grandson) apparently styles himself as "Leka II." What I don't understand is why these scions of former royalty don't just enjoy themselves in Madrid, drinking good Spanish jerez and listening to flamenco. They all think they can reclaim their thrones. They are living in a fantasy world.

Absolutely agreed!

I don´t get it either.

Admittedly, there´s been a moment when I fantasized for a moment, how it´d be if I reclaimed for at least a part of my grands grounds. ( And what such funds could do.)
But that was a quick mind bubble only and hadn´t to do with taking reign.

Most of Zogu thelikes actually aren´t scarce of funds anyway, still not really knowing what to do with the dough anyways. ( Other than equipping yacht bathrooms with golden taps maybe, or these days spending on things like 20-minute space trips for 120 000 bucks or so per head.)
