A visit to Stephen Faulk's shop

Just wanted to share some photos I took during a recent visit to Stephen Faulk's shop. While I was there, local musician Jorge Liceaga stopped by, and I snapped a few pics of him trying out Stephen's flamenca negra guitar which was close to completion. That guitar sounds fantastic, by the way!

I have a handful of other pics on my Flickr photostream, if you want to see them all just click here. Otherwise scroll down and have a look if you'd like

Juan,

As I told yo before you have a great feel for the camera I hope you keep working on your skills. As for this S. Faulk character, you should steer clear of that guy. :)

Fantastic! As someone who's in line for one of Stephen's creations, I love seeing any and all pics and updates from his shop. The pics are great, Juan - thanks so much for sharing. And thanks to Stephen for opening his shop to you! Hopefully you guys will make this a semi-regular thing.

And from the looks of these I have the feeling that you might be loving it.

Stephen himself besides looks like the sibling of a Canadian surf instructor me and fellas hung out with in Costa Rica.

Thanks Tom,
I working on the next batch of rosettes. I'm getting a majority of opinions from those who want guitars that the simple geometric oud pattern in green is the favorite. I'm working out variations on a theme of that one.

Your rosettes are special, the green variations and the red one are awsome.

I really like the inner and outer rings you use on the green rosette as well as the one on your profile page. They draw the eye to the center motif.

I do also love the green rosette, although I wish the black lines lined up on the inside ring and outside ring rather than getting shifted by the difference in radius. It's very nice looking.

It works and has movement because it's not lined up. It was intentional.
