Comparing Guitars / Comparacion de G...

English:
Hey Flamencos!

I would like your opinion on two flamenco guitars:
1. Ricardo Sanchis Carpio 1F-A
2. Rafael Romero RR

I have the first and I am being offered the second, and I am unsure whether it is worth it or not.

Many thanks!

Amigo, you're the only person who can decide whether it's worth it or not... your hands won't lie to you... so try the Romero if you can.
There are many many very good guitars available these days and going by name only won't get you very far... empirical experimentation is a must!
Good luck!
Saludos.

I've played a Sanchis and owned a Romero, though not the same models.
I liked the Sanchis more soundwise-big volume and projection, while preferred the Romero on how they feel, easier playing more singing trebles, more complex tone but they were very different type guitars.

Both great maker, but If don't know what to expect from them, then it's a plus reason to try before buy.

Really, you're the only one who can decide which you like better. But as long as you asked, I agree on the Sanchis. One thing about the Romero. Maybe it's subjective, but his guitars feel extremely light to me. Some players like that and of course everyone has his own preferences. But personally every time I play one of these extremely light guitars they just feel flimsy to me.

I know that in fact they definitely are not flimsy, and that they are very well constructed, but still they FEEL flimsy to me, and I just don't like the feel of it. I like something with some body to it in my hands. But ultimately I guess it's just a matter of preference.
