out of print gerardo nunez scores

So apparently it is impossible to get a hold of La técnica al servicio del arte. Vol. II, as it is out of print.

I usually like to just buy the books and support the artists, but since this is no longer available, somebody please help!

I must get scores to Marques De Porrina and Calima...such beautiful pieces must be shared!

Can anyone help?

Question about the Nunez Scores (in reply to Jayananda

All of the scores available on Gerardo's site are for the same songs described in "La técnica al servicio del arte. Vol. II." Does anyone know if the scores on the website are *the same exact scores* as those included in the book, or better versions? I'd heard there were lots of mistakes in the scores from Vol. II.

I made a very accurate tab of calima for you guys a couple of years ago. Its got all the mistakes that were in the book corrected.

EDIT - Just found that those links are no longer active.
I put the pdf of this tab on my website here.

Feel free to download and enjoy.

Thanks a lot for posting these tabs on your site!

Incidentally, the tab for the intro to "Yerma" was cropped too narrowly. What did you write about the tuning in the top left?

Wow! Gerardo's site is finally functional after all these years! That's great, although I already have been working on Calima for a couple of years thanks to Pimientito's fantastic tab! Great to see Marques de Porrina and El Gallo Azul available now!

I would also like to point out that apart from the transcription of 'Calima', all the exercises and falsetas (including Marques de Porrina, the falsetas from 'El Gallo Azul' etc) included in 'La tecnica al servicio del arte vol II' can be found in Encuentro's 'La guitarra flamenca de Gerardo Nunez'... which is probably why thy discontinued the book to begin with.
